We had a great time photographing Pennsylvania's elk herd from February 25th to the 27th near Benezette, PA. It was a very snowy three days. The elk were out in large herds feeding before the storm and then headed to protected areas to weather the storm. We made the best of the no-elk day by photographing three very active horses in a snowstorm on a nearby farm. To see the Winter 2010 images visit My Slideshow.
Bob Shank and I already have photographers starting to register for the Fall 2010 Pennsylvania Elk Photo Experience. Register now while space is still available. The Fall trip is during the rut so you'll have great opportunities to get that shot of a lifetime of the big bulls. To register please visit Bob Shank Photography.
